形態特徵

Medium-sized evergreen trees, often epiphytic, branchlets pale yellow or yellowish-brown, glabrous.
Leaves coriaceous, glabrous on both sides, long-ovate, 10–22 cm long, 4–6.5 cm wide, acuminate or short cuspidate at apex, obliquely obtuse at base, entire, with 3 main veins from base, lateral veins 6–11 pairs; petioles scurfy, short, thick, curved, 0.5–1.5 cm long; stipules thin-membranaceous, yellowish-white, lanceolate, 1.5–2.5 cm long, fugaceous. Gall flowers sessile or short pedicellate, perianth lobes 4, ovary smooth, ellipsoid or obovoid, style lateral or subterminal, stigma dilated.
Receptacles orange-yellow to reddish-violet-brown, solitary or paired, axillary, ovoid, 0.8–1 cm across, glabrous; basal bracts none; stalks 0.3–0.6 cm long.

台灣 : At low altitudes throughout the island.
世界 : The Ryukyus, the Philippines, Indonesia, Key and Aru Island, New Guinea, Solomon Island, New Hebrides, New Caledonia, Queensland, and Caroline Island.
